My advocacy brings positive change and clarity to colleges, parents, and legal counsel -- but most importantly it changes the trajectory of a student's future. At the center of every discussion is how to best support a student's needs so they can reach their potential. I am committed to finding innovative solutions that benefit all parties involved and have almost two decades of experience serving this community.
"...My granddaughters had challenges in school situations that Ashley's advocacy knowledge helped to solve. One of my girl's situations was with my grandaughter's university. Her 50K scholarship was in danger of being revoked due to an F from one professor who did not follow university protical by letting her know by the withdrawl date, that she was not passing. The professor disregarded the medical absences/notes and did not allow her to make up the work. This was the reason for the failure in the course. Ashley wrote a letter to the school, advocating that they reinstate the scholarship and review the events that caused the failure in the course. Mrs. Hingley provided the process to pursue an office of civil rights complaint against the university should they remove the scholarship due to the professors' choice. As a result. they recognized the issue, accepted a solution, and reinstated her scholarship. Both girls are graduating from thier colleges this May."
